Barn Cottages are in large private gardens in a secluded valley that has a distinctly rural feel, yet its only a short walk (or bus ride) to Shrewsbury’s historic town centre which boasts an exceptional choice of restaurants, individual shops, ancient pubs (real ale) and the usual supermarkets and takeaways.
Shrewsbury is the historic county town of Shropshire. It offers a large variety of activities- there are shows and events throughout the year in and around the town and in the riverside Severn Theatre. There are many many miles of unspoilt countryside and hills just waiting to be walked by you. Numerous historic castles, houses and gardens, Ironbridge Gorge world heritage site, Severn Valley Railway, Wroxeter Roman City, Cosford Aerospace Museum…. The list goes on and on.
It is our intention to provide you with a great base - a real home-from-home. All the cottages are fully equipped warm and clean, they have nice views from their own patios, with comfortable furnishings, fully fitted kitchens and the thoughtful touches that makes your stay that much more enjoyable. All bedding and towels and some basic toiletries are included.
During the low season we offer flexible arrival dates and duration, at other times bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. Our cottages are suitable for well-behaved children but sorry we do not accommodate pets or allow smoking inside the cottages.
