First off - thank you for building these lovely cottages and the lovely garden. We are no strangers to Shrewsbury/Shropshire as we have been coming for around 4 years now, we loved our visits so much we got married in ironbridge.
A beautiful and well-appointed cottage in a lovely part of England. Excellent walking - Long Mynd especially pleasant. would reccomend a visit to Stokesay Castle - fascinating place, and the Abbey's at Buildwas and Wenlock also very interesting. Lots to enjoy also in Shrewsbury with lovely riverside walks and Abbey. Would love to return next year

Its been a great holiday, cottage very comfortable and its been great watching the squirrel running about the garden and we even saw a fox passing through one morning. A very pleasant and relaxing time was had
This is most definitely one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in! Lovely and peaceful and weather good enough to eat outside most nights. This was our first visit to Shrewsbury/Shropshire and we were really impressed by the quantity and quality of things to visit. Our top things were Blists Hill Victorian Town, Walking on the Stiperstones and Powys Castle. We will certainly be coming back here as there are lots of things we didnt get to see.

We enjoyed our stay at Beech Cottage. Beautiful surroundings yet walking distance to town centre. We enjoyed the walks around Shrewsbury very much. Going home feeling very relaxed after our holiday here.
Cottage and surroundings perfect, nice and peaceful. Went to the Armoury and Osteria De Paolo. Excellent food, both reccomended. All you need for Self-Catering and more. We hope everyone who stays here has a great time.

We had a lovely holiday. The cottage was very comfortable and great to come back torelax after a fun-filled day. Lots to see and do in Shrewsbury. We loved the many walks we tried. The town itself was truly awesome, lost of lovely nooks to explore, beautiful churches, especially St Marys. Good variety of places to eat especially Sunday Lunch at The Old Post Office and a memorable lunch at Morgans. We would recommend the River Cruise.

Great Cottage! Great garden!enjoyed watching the overworked Great Tits feeding their babies. Loved Shrewsbury-lots to see. Ludlow castle woth a visit, the tearooms there are excellent.

We loved staying in your loveley convenient cottage. Your local walks were excellent. We found this to be a very well located cottage as we don't have a car. We caught trains to Wales and buses to Ironbridge and Bridgnorth. We had a great time.
For the third time we have come to stay at Acorn Cottage. We love the setting, an oasis within a large town. Bird song to listen to and a marvellous display by two male pheasants. The Shropshire countryside and towns are deliightful. As two of us have mobility problems-the cottage is excellent. We hope to come again

Loved the peacefulness of the cottage and the babling brook and birdsong. Hstoric Shrewsbury is very photogenic - lots of history. Would recommend walking on Long Mynd, visiting Stokesay Castle and Wroxeter Roman City. Thanks for a lovely stay

We have very much enjoyed exploring this part of Shropshire. Seen much but not all, we hope to return sometime. It suited us very well to be within walking distance of the town yet staying where it is so quiet it could easily be in the middle of the countryside miles from anywhere. A lovely cottage warm and cosy with all amenities and a beautiful outlook. We have no hesitation in reccomending it.
We came for our anniversary weekend and the setting was perfect. The cottage is lovely and the surroundings were quiet, but we were able to walk to the supermarket and the town. We had everything we needed in the cottage and its beautifully decorated. The information book was very useful, we hope to visit again soon.
We had a brilliant half term break in Oak Cottage. The setting was serene- very peaceful, but close to the town centre. We particularly enjoyed the circular walks around the local area and the closeness to the town centre restaurants.
We booked all 3 cottages for New Year and as a base for a family wedding held at Adcote. The cottages were perfect and we had a great time celebrating this very special occasion. The lovely garden dusted with frost each bright cold morning was beautiful setting to wake up to. We hope to return to see more of Shrewsbury and the Shropshire countryside.
We have spent a very relaxing Christmas in your beautiful cottage. Everything we needed was here and it was easy to walk into town if we didnt want to take the car. What a beautiful spot we will reccomend Acorn Cottage to all our freinds.

An enjoyable and relaxing break for our wedding anniversary. Meal at Golden Cross was afbulous and a more relaxed sunday lunch at the Armoury equally as good, just right for each occassion. Walked the Long Mynd, the scenery is just stunning. A great long weekend ina great cottage, we will be back.
We ve had a great time. The weather has been kind to us. We walked into town on two days and found the friday concert in St Chads Church, with lunch afterwards. The homemade cakes in the market buffet are worth a visit. Beech Cottage has been warm comfortable and well equipped. Thank you very much.

Sadly we have to leav today. Thank you for providing us with such a lovely cottage whilst working in Shrewsbury for a few days. We ve had a great time staying here, making use of the kitchen and the wonderful log burning stove. A perfect holiday cottage indeed. We'll be back!
Had the perfect relaxing week, we didnt want to drive around much so explored the town - great being able to walk there. What alovely view of the garden from the lounge. Great beer at the Red Barn too.
Lovely location, good real ale pubs in the town, lots of heritage sites in the vicinity. So much to do and so little time! and the weather was kind. We had a great break.
Lovely to come back to after walking all day - not only on the hills but around Shrewsbury, visiting the churches and the Abbey. We were lucky and had sun every day so visited the dingle a couple of times, its a gem of a garden. Thank you for your lovely cottage and hope we can come back again.
This was our first experience of staying in a Holiday Cottage and having spent 5 days here at Acorn Cottage we can say that we could not have found a better place to stay than this. Its comfortable, clean and well laid out with a lovely outlook. We can say without any doubt that we will be back for a longer stay in the future.
Peace and comfort in Acorn Cottage, excellent centre for exploring with lots to do and see. We particularly enjoyed Ironbridge, Powys Castle and the Dower House Garden at Morville Hall.
