Our 6th time at Acorn Cottage. It was - as ever - in good order and this time the weather behaved itself. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and hope our health with allow us to come again.

We enjoyed our stay. We found the motoring tours very interesting and helpful. Chester was fascinating and Shrewsbury was delightful.

Home from Home! The cottage has a lovely atmosphere - must be all the happy hols taken here. A welcoming freindly county - we loved the people - always ready to smile and chat. Do hope we will return.

Great week in an incredible cottage and location. Walking distance to Town centre and Shrewsbury Town Football Stadium. Take time to explore all the shops in town centre, visit St Chads and take in the stained glass.

Excellent Cottage in a wonderful setting - great to be able to walk into town - lovely selection of Shops,Pubs & Restaurants. We did the Christmas carol walk - absolutely fantastic!! Didnt realise that the gravestone of Ebenezer Scrooge is still in the graveyard at St Chads. We had an excellent time!

Another delightful winter break in Acorn Cottage. Shrewsbury never dissapoints and we have again been lucky to find such a gem so close to the town centre. Hope we can return in the summer to sample the garden and more of the town.

Very comfortable cottage, nice and quiet with easy walk to the town centre. This time we walked aloing the Radbrook - lovely! Sampled local ales in the evening, good grub in the veggie cafe 'The Good Life'. Thanks for a lovely stay

A lovely week in a lovely cottage. Enjoyed visiting Chester and Ironbridge. Elesmere was an unexpected gem, quaint little town with walks by the lake. Pheasants in the garden didnt quite make it to our plates!

Most enjoyable holiday in lovely accomodation

We ve enjoyed staying in this lovely cottage with its beautiful peaceful garden. Favorite days out included: guided walking tour of Shrewsbury, Boat Trip, Wroxeter Roman City, Longmynd and Carding Mill Valley, Ludlow(we saw Prince Charles!,)Liverpool and the Beatles Story and Wedgewood factory tour. Very good meals at The Armoury and The Golden Cross.

We had a lovely time in Shrewsbury. We went on a boat trip and visited many museums. Chester and Ironbridge were good too. The cottage is lovely and the garden is huge.All in all we had a wonderful holiday and hope to come back again soon.
