This is a bespoke 'Holiday Cottage' in an exceptional location. There is no compromise. It is a true 'home-from-home' with the accent on comfort and a sharp clean finish.
All the accommodation is on the ground floor with excellent accessibility. The vaulted ceiling living/kitchen area with bi-fold French windows giving lots of natural light and direct access to the picturesque garden.
It has a high level of finish and equipment with easy to control underfloor heating, ensuite shower room, walk-in wardrobe leather sofas and fully integrated kitchen with waist height oven and microwave, halogen hob, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine and dishwasher.
The open plan living area has two comfy leather sofas and a 32"flatscreen TV with DVD. Bifold doors open out onto the patio. The whole area has a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and feature lighting.
The comfort of course extends to the bedroom, a wide door leads though to a kingsize bed, a walk in wardrobe and an ensuite shower room in a modern 'wetroom' style. It is smart, clean, well lit and well ventilated.
Willow Cottage is in the same peaceful location as our other cottages and so enjoys the same privacy, convenience and private parking.
Access - the cottage is all at ground floor level with a very slight ramp to the front door.
Guests – This cottage sleeps 2 people in one Kingsize bed.
Daytime guests are welcome subject to parking limitations.
Measurements given are correct as of April 201. We do periodically replace furniture and floorcoverings so please check if you have a specific requirement.
The cottages are set in a large garden (just under 1 acre) set mostly to Lawn.
Initial approach is from Red Barn Lane, this is fully tarmaced and slopes down towards the private driveway to the cottages.
The cottage driveway is level and constructed of compacted gravel.
The driveway and Red Barn Lane are difficult with a manual wheelchair but can be managed.
All accommodation is on the ground floor.
Entrance is via an open porch to the front door this is level. The front door opens to a clear aperture of 765 mm with a 40mm threshold.

measures 5 metres by 5.1 metres with vaulted ceiling and a choice of lighting.
There is a 2 seater Settee and 2 armchairs all are leather covered. Seat heights are 450mm.
There is a movable dining table LWH 740x740x740 mm with 2 chairs seat height 480mm. The table has legs at each corner offering a tuck under aperture of 650mm high and 570mm wide.
Kitchen surfaces are at 900mm height.
All appliances are built in or integrated. The washing machine, Dishwasherand Fridge with icebox are all floor standing and undercounter.
The oven and microwave are built into a tower unit, the bootom of the oven is 700mmm from the floor and the microwave is 1300mm.
There is a ceramic 4 ring hob built into the work surface.
Kitchen sink is in stainless steel with a bowl and a half and a large crosshead mixer tap.
There is ample space to manoeuvre a wheel chair in this room.
There are full length glazed bifold doors to patio area with 2 steps of 140mm and 100mm. A wheelchair user would not be able to get onto the patio unaided.

3.4metres x 2.9 metres is accessed from the Living/Kitchen through a 800mm door.
The Kingsize bed has a clearance underneath of 50mm and the top of the mattress is 500 mm from the floor.
The clearance at the left side of the bed is 900 mm and 850mm at the right, it is possible to move the bed sideways.
The bed has additional reading lights, clock alarm and 2 powerpoints.
There is a small dressing room with hanging rail, a chest of drawers with mirror, light and powerpoint.
The floor is carpeted
Wetroom measures 2.9 metres by 1 metres with a completely flat floor.
Entry is via double doors that open outwards into the bedroom, the width is 900mm and the clear passage through is 580mm although the bed can be moved sideways to increase this if required.
The washbasin is in the middle at a height of 780mm with clear space underneath at 650mm, with a lever action mixer tap. Clearance to the left side for the shower is 610mm and 780mm to the right side for access to the WC.
The shower is thermostatic with a grab rail mounted to the side of the valve.
The toilet is a standard close coupled unit with a grab rail to the side.
May to September 2022 minimum charge is for 7 days.
Changeover day is Saturday
